Montrose, Colo., native, 1st Lt. Francisco Hernandez (left), a rifle platoon leader with Company B, 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, and his wife, Wellsville, N.Y., native, 1st Lt. Tabitha Hernandez, battalion personnel officer with the 1st Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, pin each other during their promotion ceremony, Dec. 18. The newly weds will be at Camp Liberty together for just enough time to spend their first Christmas as a married couple together. The two had joked about pinning each other when they were just friends in officer candidate school at Fort Benning, Ga.
