Staff Sgt. Omar Gonzalez Mena, a petroleum supply specialist assigned to the Fort Bragg, N.C., based 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command stands ready to coach a Soldier assigned to the 3rd Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade through an M17 pistol qualification on a range at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, on Jan. 26, 2022. “Spears Ready” Soldiers have been deployed since August of 2021 staffing the 1st Theater Sustainment Command operational command post.
