Master-at-Arms Seaman Jamie Graves responds during an active shooter exercise that was held at the Naval Support Activity Hampton Roads-Headquarters Annex. This security drill was part of Exercise Citadel Shield-Solid Curtain 2022 (CS-SC22) which is an annual, two-part exercise conducted by Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command and Commander, Navy Installations Command on all CONUS Navy installations. CS-SC22 enhances the training and readiness of U.S. Navy security personnel and better prepares Department of the Navy (DON) personnel for potential force protection situations. It also establishes a learning environment for security personnel to exercise functional plans and operational capabilities. These exercises are not related to any current threat; rather it is designed and executed to increase readiness and to deter or respond to potential security threats.
