ENGLISH CHANNEL (Feb. 1, 2022) – Gunner's Mate 3rd Class Gabriel Snyder mans a Remote Operated Console (ROC) of a Mk 38, 25mm machine gun system during a transit of the Dover Straits aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Porter (DDG 78), Feb. 1, 2022. Porter, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is currently surged for national tasking in the U.S. Sixth Fleet area of operations in support of regional allies and partners and U.S. national security interests in Europe and Africa.
