Maj. Haden "Gator" Fullam, A-10 Thunderbolt II Demonstration Team commander and pilot and Maj. Ryan “Slinga” Yingling, United States Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron “Thunderbirds” operations officer, fly in formation over Fort Huachuca, Arizona, Jan 31, 2022. Although the Thunderbirds fly the F-16 Fighting Falcon, the team is made up of pilots with backgrounds in the F-35 Lightning II, F-22 Raptor, F-15 Eagle fighter jets and even the A-10 Thunderbolt II in addition to the F-16.
