(January 28, 2022) U.S. Marines and Sailors with Chemical Biological Incident Response Force conduct a Tactical Combat Casualty Care Combat Lifesavers Course (TCCC CLS) final event including applying tourniquets and chest seals, wound packing, inserting a nasopharyngeal airway device, securing broken bones, and proper casualty evacuation aboard Naval Support Facility Indian Head Annex Stump Neck, Md., on January 28, 2022. TCCC CLS is designed to teach knowledge and techniques necessary to provide effective medical care in a combat environment, and then test the student’s capabilities in a stressful environment.
