U.S. Marine Corps Recruit Matthew Garcia, a recruit with Lima Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, loads a magazine on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Feb. 2, 2022. Garcia was preparing for Table 3, the newest addition to recruit training on the west coast. Table 3 requires teams of four to rush toward various types of cover and fire at targets located at several unknown distances. The range provided recruits with modern day training equipment such as four-wheel autonomous robot targets and a network system of targets that spring up and down. Garcia was recruited out of San Diego, Calif. with Recruiting Station Upland. (U.S Marine Corps Photo by Sgt. Christopher Madero)
