PHILIPPINE SEA (Jan. 26, 2022) Sgt. Brian Heidel, from Elko, Nev., assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) performs an inspection of a main rotor cuff in the hangar bay of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20). Green Bay, part of the America Amphibious Ready Group, along with the 31st MEU, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
