On a frozen Saturday morning about 100 people braved frigid temperatures for a quick dip into the Atlantic in support of the first annual Sea Girt Patriot Polar Plunge in honor of New Jersey Army National Guard 1st Lt. Juan Fajardo, February 5, 2022, in Sea Girt, NJ. 1st Lt. Fajardo died in a motor vehicle accident in November. The proceeds from the plunge go to support the Coastal Habitat for Humanity's L. I. F.
