CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti (Feb. 3, 2022) – U.S. Navy Aviation Machinists Mate 3rd Class Chance Norton, a Sailor from Valley Springs, Calif., assigned to the “Golden Swordsmen” of Patrol Squadron 47, currently deployed to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti (CLDJ) guides a P-8A Poseidon after a landing on the flight line of the camp. CLDJ serves as an expeditionary base for U.S. military forces providing support to ships, aircraft and personnel that ensure security throughout Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.
