Maj. of the Army Michael Grinston on the wear and issuance of the extreme cold weather clothing system during a visit to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Feb. 8, 2022. The Spartan Brigade is the only airborne infantry brigade combat team in the Arctic and Pacific theaters, providing the combatant commander with the unique capability to project an expeditionary force by air.
