U.S. Air Force Capt. Steven Wingfield, a 137th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron (137th AES) flight nurse, spots a group of 137th AES Airmen carrying a litter with a simulated patient onto a C-17 Globemaster III from the 105th Airlift Wing at Will Rogers Air National Guard Base in Oklahoma City, June 21, 2021. The aeromedical evacuation Airmen regularly train to properly transport and load patients onto multiple aircraft for transport. The Airmen take direction from multiple spotters who work in coordination throughout the fuselage to quickly and safely load patients. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Senior Master Sgt. Andrew M.
