With UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters close behind, two CH-47 Chinook helicopters, assigned to 2-501st General Support Aviation Battalion, begin to gain altitude over an airstrip as they begin their mission of seizing an airfield at Fort Bliss’ Biggs Field, Feb. 22, 2022. 2-501st was responsible for infilling 120 ground personnel into an airfield as a means of assaulting and seizing the location.
