U.S. Army Troopers from Regimental Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 3d Cavalry Regiment, stage two Joint Lightweight Tactical Vehicles in preparation for night iteration of drivers training during exercise Rifles Forge at the Fort Hood Training Area, Fort Hood, Texas, Feb. 1, 2022. In addition to driving in daytime conditions, Troopers learn how to drive in nighttime conditions with and without head lights and in blackout conditions. This means that outside of ambient light from the moon, troopers learn to drive without any supplementary light source other than personal night vision equipment. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt.
