U.S. Marine Corps Recruits Thomas Crafford (right) and Dylan Coburn with Mike Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, demonstrate a fireman carry during a combat care class at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, Feb. 9, 2022. The recruits learned a variety of carries to help move injured Marines. After the class, each recruit had the opportunity to practice different scenarios and ask follow-up questions. Crafford was recruited out of Poplar Buff Missouri, with Recruiting Station Saint Louis. Coburn was recruited out of Michigan City Indiana, with Recruiting Station Indianapolis.
