JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Jan. 7, 2022) - Lt. Cmdr. Kathleen Smith, a pharmacist at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, fills a prescription. A native of Portland, Oregon who holds a doctor of pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University, Smith says, "Pharmacy is a critical stop in the hospital for nearly every patient who comes in the door. We understand how important access to safe medication therapy and quality care is for our patients. I'm so thankful that every day I have the privilege of seeing the pharmacy staff come together to meet the challenges, learning and growing along the way, to keep serving our patients the best we can."
