MAYPORT, Fla. - (Feb. 10, 2022) – Peruvian Navy Lt. Cmdr. Maria Belen Canales Cueva, right, receives a certificate from Cmdr. Henry Lee Bush, the director of Communications and Information Systems at U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet, during a turnover ceremony where she relieves Ecuadorian Navy Cmdr. Alexis Cevellos as Interim Deputy Secretary of the Inter-American Naval Telecommunications Network (IANTN) at U.S. 4th Fleet headquarters, Feb. 10, 2021. Established in 1962, IANTN’s mission is to maintain a permanent link among naval authorities of the Americas. U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command hosts the multi-national IANTN staff, which oversees IANTN detachments and operations centers in 18 partner nations in the Caribbean, Central and South America.
