U.S. Air Force Tactical Aircraft Maintenance specialists, or Crew Chiefs, assigned to the 148th Fighter Wing, Minnesota Air National Guard, Duluth, Minn., perform routine checks at the end of runway prior to launching Block 50 F-16CM Fighting Falcons at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., Feb 8, 2022, while participating in Red Flag 22-1. The exercise allowed participants to conduct a variety of scenarios, including defensive counter air, offensive counter air suppression of enemy air defenses and offensive counter air-air interdiction.
