Senior Airman Sean McFarlane, a Crash Damaged Disabled Aircraft Recovery journeyman assigned to the 39th Maintenance Squadron, attaches hoses to pneumatic lifting bags during an aircraft recovery training exercise at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, Feb. 16, 2022. The training consisted of using the pneumatic bags to lift a disabled Turkish Air Force F-4 Phantom II. CDDAR Airmen are responsible for the response and recovery of any downed aircraft while avoiding further damage.
