Bangladesh Air Force Air Vice Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan highlights the importance of the partnership between the U.S. Air Force and Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) during the Exercise Cope South 2022 opening ceremony, Feb. 19, 2022, at BAF Base Bangabandhu, Bangladesh. Exercise Cope South is a Pacific Air Forces-sponsored bilateral tactical airlift exercise. During the exercise, U.S. Air Force Airmen from Yokota Air Base, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam trained alongside the BAF to enhance their ability to work together if needed in a real world situation.
