Airmen assigned to the 6th Security Forces Squadron (SFS) tryout for the emergency services team (EST) at MacDill Air Force Base, Feb. 4, 2022. EST Airmen are highly trained and equipped to handle special threat situations which can involve barricaded suspects, hostages and active shooters. EST members from the 6th SFS are responsible for responding to emergencies involving the 6th Air Refueling Wing, U.S. Central Command and U.S. Special Operations Command.
