KADENA, Japan (Feb. 25, 2022) Lt. Caleb Aaberg, from Prosser, Wash. assigned to NAVFAC (Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command), broadens the horizons of 5th graders at Bob Hope Elementary School Feb. 25, 2022. Sailors led discussions about why, how, and what engineers and constructionmen do for their professions, then facilitated a group activity to understand then build their own "gaurdshacks", giving the youngsters a glimpse of what they could also be doing one day. NAVFAC provides facility planning, programming, constructions, maintenance, utilities, and environmental protection for Navy facilities located on Okinawa, Japan.
