New York City Police Department Counterterrorism’s K-9 unit recently conducted training at U.S. Army Garrison Fort Hamilton. Dana Vazquez, executive administrative assistant to the Garrison commander, helped the canines test for explosive odor. The partnership with the NYPD expands Fort Hamilton’s operational readiness and helps to keep our community safe.
