Boise State University ROTC Senior Cadet Ryan Fischer, who received combat medic training while on active duty, is providing his fellow cadets with emergency medical training for treating different injuries. During this field training day cadets are separated into four groups to receive specific training in medical aid, handling explosives, prisoner security and small unit movement.
As the pace picks up for the Bronco Battalion, cadets train indoors and outdoors in a variety of situations. Its an academic schedule far different than read'n, write'n and rithmatic.
The Office of Visual Information for Idaho Army National Guard will follow the Boise State University Bronco Battalion for the Spring 2022 Semester through graduation. Graduates will serve as officers in the U.S. Army, the Army National Guard, and the U.S. Army Reserves. Several BSU seniors who will graduate this May are destined for duty with the Idaho Army National Guard joining several BSU ROTC Alumni currently serving in the Idaho Army National Guard.
