Joshua Scott, a guide with the Outdoor Recreation Center, stares down from the edge of an ice cliff during an ice climbing trip with the Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) program and the Outdoor Recreation Center, Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation, Feb. 18-19, 2022, at Ouray, Colorado. Scott said he believes the BOSS program is a very important resource for single Soldiers living in the barracks because it helps build trust with others and allows them to explore the great Colorado outdoor activities.
