SOUTH CHINA SEA (Feb. 12, 2022) Two B-52 Stratofortresses, assigned to the 2nd Bomb Wing as part of the deployed bomber task force in theater, fly alongside an MC-130J Air Commando II assigned to the 353rd Special Operations Wing. Air crews and Naval Special Warfare combatant craft rehearsed joint, combined force communications and increased interoperability. The rehearsal demonstrates U.S. commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific and synchronizes special operations capabilities between U.S. forces and regional partners and allies.
