Nancy Childers honors her son, Lance Cpl. Cody Childers in a ceremony with 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, March 3, 2022. Childers was killed in action on August 20, 2010, while serving in Helmand Province, Afghanistan.
