220304-N-KW492-1638 PACIFIC OCEAN (March 4, 2022) Cmdr. Matthew Hays, commanding officer of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Milius (DDG 69), from Celine, Ohio fires an M240B machine gun as Chief Gunner’s Mate Watie Alperty IV, from Poland, Ohio observes for safety during a live-fire exercise aboard the MIlius. Milius is assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15 and is underway supporting a free and open Indo-Pacific.
