Sgt. Joy Quary, a member of the Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 158th Field Artillery Regiment, 45th Field Artillery Brigade, Oklahoma Army National Guard crawls under barbed while attempting to complete an obstacle course. The obstacle course was part of the Best Warrior Competition at Camp Gruber Training Center, Oklahoma, March 3, 2022. The Best Warrior Competition is a three-day annual event that brings together top-tier Soldiers to test their proficiency in a variety of warrior tasks and drills. The competitors will endure tests in land navigation, marksmanship and weapons skills, an assault course, a written essay and an appearance before a board of sergeants major, all culminating in a 12-mile ruck march.
