Warren Walker, from Tulsa, Oklahoma and a member of Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 279th Infantry Regiment, 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, completes the six-vault challenge during the obstacle course event of the Best Warrior Competition at Camp Gruber Training Center, Oklahoma, March 5, 2022. The competition is a three-day annual event that brings together top-tier Soldiers to test their proficiency in a variety of warrior tasks and drills. The competitors endure tests in land navigation, marksmanship and weapons skills, an assault course, a written essay and an appearance before a board of sergeants major, all culminating in a 12-mile ruck march.
