Joel Vallejo, a Queens, New York, native and a tactical air operations/air defense systems technician with 2d Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2d Marine Division, operates a utility task vehicle equipped with the Marine All-Domain Command and Control Center during Littoral Exercise II (LEX II) at Marine Corps Auxiliary Landing Field Bogue, North Carolina, March 2, 2022. During LEX II, Marines and Sailors aim to practice their ability to discourage a notional adversary’s coercive behavior and contribute directly through deterrence with advanced technology systems.
