Kennedy (CVN 79) (Right), presents Culinary Specialist 1st Class Kevin Linney (Left) also assigned to John F. Kennedy (CVN79), a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for his selection as Senior Sailor of the Quarter (SOQ) during a luncheon. The SOQ program recognizes Sailors from across the command who exemplify leadership, professionalism, and performance in support of the command’s mission. John F. Kennedy, the second aircraft carrier in the Ford-class, is under construction at the Huntington Ingalls Industries Newport News Shipyard in Newport News, Virginia.
