NAVAL STATION MAYPORT, Fla. - (March 3, 2022) – Midshipmen from the Jacksonville University NROTC unit tour a simulated pilothouse at the Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) Detachment Southeast’s Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Training Facility, on March 3, 2022. All Sailors and officers assigned to an LCS train in watch stations using virtual-reality technology, and are required to demonstrate proficiency in their respective watch stations before manning live, shipboard watches.
