220225-N-MW880-1112 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Feb. 25, 2022) An F/A-18F Super Hornet aircraft, attached to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 86, launches from the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) during Tailored Ship’s Training Availability/Final Evaluation Problem (TSTA/FEP), Feb. 25. TSTA/FEP is a multi-phase training evolution designed to give the crew a solid foundation of unit-level operating proficiency and to enhance the ship’s ability to self-train. George H.W. Bush provides the national command authority flexible, tailorable war fighting capability through the carrier strike group that maintains maritime stability and security in order to ensure access, deter aggression and defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
