Cadets from Bowling Green State University’s Department of Aerospace Studies Reserve Officer Training Corps, Detachment 620, listen as Aircrew Flight Equipment Technicians, assigned to the Ohio National Guard’s 180th Fighter Wing, discuss the purpose and capabilities of various lifesaving and survival equipment used by the wing’s F-16 Fighting Falcon pilots. The 180FW provided the opportunity to see an operational Air National Guard unit and learn about the wing’s mission sets and capabilities as the cadets begin to consider career paths following their commission as officers into the U.S. Air Force after completing the ROTC program.
