220308-N-UD000-1017 ATLANTIC OCEAN (March 8, 2022) Gunner’s Mate 3rd Class Uvie Edwards unloads ammunition in preparation for a live fire evolution onboard the USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77). George H.W. Bush is currently operating with Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 7 and Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 26 as part of the George H.W. Bush Carrier Strike Group (GHWBCSG). GHWBCSG is an integrated combat weapons system that delivers superior combat capability to deter, and if necessary, defeat America’s adversaries in support of national security. The strike group achieves its mission by projecting the combined power of George H.W.
