One last time around the hospital! Blanchfield Army Community Hospital and Fort Campbell Soldier Recovery Unit Soldiers completed a farewell brigade run with Command Sgt. Maj. Daniel Santiago, the hospital’s senior enlisted leader, March 2, before his change of responsibility ceremony later this week. After presenting awards to several Soldiers, Command Sgt. Maj. Santiago reflected on the hard work of BACH and SRU Soldiers and civilians over the past two years supporting COVID-19 response while enabling medical readiness for Soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and providing high quality, safe, accessible health care for Soldiers, retirees and family members. Santiago will retire from active duty after serving 27 years in the Army.
