A U.S. Marine Corps D6 bulldozer with Aviation Ground Support Detachment, Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command, sits in a recently created ditch at the Strategic Expeditionary Landing Field aboard Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, Feb. 18, 2022. Due to erosion and routine use, periodic maintenance is required on the SELF to ensure the subgrade underneath the AM-2 aluminum matting remains within safety criteria.
