U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Taylor Barrett, a radio operator with Force Reconnaissance Company, 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force, fires during a range on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Mar. 14, 2022. Soldiers with1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) held a range with III MEF’s Reconnaissance Marines to assess different weapons handling techniques and movement of fire skills. Because of the clear threats to peace and security in this region, we must maintain the highest levels of readiness to respond at a moment's notice to any threat, crisis, or humanitarian disaster.
