U.S. Army Soldiers with the Washington National Guard receive their awards after competing in the state Best Warrior Competition on March 5, 2022, at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. The competition consisted of an Army Combat Fitness Test, board panel, written essay, qualification range, stress shoot, land navigation, and a tactical ruck march. The winning Soldier and NCO—Spc.
