On Sept. 6, 2019, six Airmen from the 347th Rescue Group completed the HC-130J Combat King II aircraft’s first flight to be operated by an all-female aircrew. The Youth Open House culminated Women In Aviation Week and was aimed to connect a younger generation to Airmen and inspire them for careers in airpower leading to a more diverse and effective Air Force in the future.
