Leaders from the U.S. Marine Corps 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), and Japanese 1st Amphibious Rapid Deployment Regiment observe enlisted Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 31 (CLB), 31st MEU, and Japanese soldiers with 1ARDR, work together to attach a Marine Corps joint light tactical vehicle to a Japanese M936A2 6x6 Wrecker truck during a convoy for a company-level training exercise on Combined Arms Training Center Camp Fuji, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, Mar. 17, 2022. CLB-31 conducted convoy maneuvers with immediate action drills to sustain maritime readiness and to integrate Japanese forces in training for Maritime Defense Exercise Amphibious Rapid Deployment Brigade (MDX-ARDB).
