JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii (March 22, 2022) U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Jonathan Guardado, assigned to Marine Corps Base Hawaii’s Combat Logistics Battalion 3, secures temporary laundry facilities for transport on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH) due to drinking water being declared safe by Hawaii Department of Health. The U.S. Navy is working closely with the Hawaii Department of Health, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Army to restore safe drinking water to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam housing communities through sampling and flushing, and the recovery of the Red Hill Well.
