USASAC Deputy to the Commanding General Dr. Myra Gray discuss security assistance procurement and sustainment requirements with members of an Australian delegation during a visit on March 21 at Redstone Arsenal. In attendance were the Australian Army's Brig. Gen. Haydn Kohl, the Director of General Explosive Materiel in the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group; Australian Navy Commodore Nigel Smith, Director of General Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance Enterprise in the Joint Capabilities Group; and Tony Walsh, Acting Minister Counsellor for Defense Material. USASAC executes the U.S. Army's foreign military sales (FMS) program, a critical component of U.S. foreign policy. The command's FMS program builds partner capacity, supports combatant command strategies, and strengthens global partnerships in support of U.S. national security.
