U.S. Air Force 1st Lt. Riley “Reaper” Nix, A-10C Thunderbolt II pilot, has a snack during an Integrated Combat Turn (ICT) during exercise Ready Tiger 22-01 at Avon Park, Florida, March 1, 2022. ICTs allow ground crews to rearm and refuel a running aircraft in order to reduce downtime. Ready Tiger is a Lead-Wing exercise focused on testing Moody Air Force Base’s ability to employ Air Base Squadrons to help generate air power downrange and maintain command and control in contested environments.
