    Brig. Gen. Isaac Peltier, the commanding general of Special Operations Joint Task Force – Levant, and Chief Master Sgt. Gregory Smith, the senior enlisted leader of U.S. Special Operations Command, have a conversation during a visit by key leaders from USSOCOM to Union III forward operating base in Baghdad, Iraq, March 23, 2022. Key leaders from U.S. Special Operations Command visited the base to discuss continued USSOCOM support for and missions related to building regional security and stability and the enduring defeat of Daesh.
