    Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps, General Eric Smith, attends the retirement ceremony for Chief Warrant Officer 4 (CWO4) Patrick Wire on March 24 at Marine Barracks Washington. CWO4 Wire served for 20 years and was most recently stationed at Marine Corps Installations Command (MCICOM) as a Cyber Systems Officer on the Information Technology Directorate. MCICOM exercises command and control of Marine Corps installations via regional commanders in order to provide oversight, direction and coordination of installation services and to optimize support to the Operating Forces, tenants and activities.
