220323-N-FS190-1053 ATLANTIC OCEAN (March 23, 2022) A close-in weapons system (CIWS) fires from the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Truxtun (DDG 103) during a life fire exercise for Task Force Exercise (TFEX), March 23, 2022. TFEX is a scenario driven exercise that serves as certification for independent deploying ships and is designated to test mission readiness and performance in integrated operations.
