BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (April 5, 2022) -- Army Gen. Laura J. Richardson, U.S. Southern Command commander, and Barbados Defence Force Chief of Staff, Commodore Errington Shurland, sign an Engagement and Cooperation Framework to enhance bilateral defense engagements and security cooperation, focused on countering transnational criminal organizations, humanitarian assistance & disaster relief, and force development.
