Texas A&M Forest Service supports efforts to extinguish the fire in the demolition range area at JBSA-Camp Bullis on April 10, 2022. Other organizations assisting in containing the fire include: JBSA FES, Leon Springs FD, San Antonio FD, Bexar County ESD 10, Bexar County ESD 12, Bexar-Bulverde FD, Bulverde Spring-Vranch FD, Bexar County ESD 10, Texas Forestry Service, Texas Interstate Fire, Mutual Aid System (TIFMAS), District 7 Fire Rescue, Bexar County Office of, Emergency Management, Texas Division of Emergency Management, and Canyon Lake FD. JBSA-Camp Bullis comprises more than 27,000 acres of ranges, training areas, and wild-lands on San Antonio’s Northside and is a crucial training location for service members from Joint Base San Antonio.
